Not Your Average African-American

Today after school I’m going to get my hair cut. It’s about time. I’d love to get it dyed a different color, but uh, yeah, Grandma….

She’s so lame about everything. It is, after all, my hair. I went shopping yesterday. I’m glad. Oh and on Sunday, I finally got to see Levi after about two and a half month. I went to Icebreaker Sunday night and hung out with Breanna, and Trent (and Levi). I was glad. He’s changed a lot, though. I don’t even think he notices…Or maybe I just think so because he’s not allowed to really talk to me. I really miss him though…a bunch. Soon enough, we need to hang out again. It’s been forever since our “old” group spent time together. (Katie, Trent, Morgan, Breanna, Levi, and me.) Yet, I’m not sure how I’ll manage that…being at Ms. Castlebergs and all and not having the car with me. :/

I skipped school yesterday. Well, not really skipped. I was pretty sick, so I had a good excuse c;

I’m really not ready for this school year. Usually I am, just because…well, because I’m smart like that ;). But this year I don’t feel like doing anything. Maybe it’s because of the whole issue with grandma and crap. Its made me “mentally” tired…(psssh, AND physically) All I feel like doing is sleeping, and watching movies of course. I’ve watched so many in the past couple of days.

The Notebook (twice), The Titanic, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Phantom of the Opera (which was REALLY good), The Day After Tomorrow, Happy Feet (lol)…and some others, ha, that I can’t even remember.

When I’m away from home, I feel a lot happier. Like I don’t have to watch every single stupid move I make to satisfy her. It’s so….stupid.

Life for now, I guess, is good.

All I need now is to:

1. Hear from Sean <3

2. Hang out with Levi again

3. Stay away from grandma

4. Get my hair cut

and 5. GET MY ASS IN GEAR FOR SCHOOOOOL
